Full Loft Bathroom Build — Ryde

Job location: Ryde

A full bathroom created from scratch in a loft space in Ryde. Steve built a stud wall to carve out a dedicated shower area, fitted aqua panels throughout including the sloped ceiling sections, laid large-format slate-effect floor tiles, and installed all sanitaryware — wall-hung toilet, oak vanity unit with basin, and a matte black rainfall shower over a black slate tray. The finished room makes full use of the Velux window and the awkward angles of the roof space.

The problem

A loft bathroom needed a shower area and fittings that worked with the roof's awkward angles.

Work carried out

  • Built a stud wall and fitted aqua panels, including the sloped ceiling sections.
  • Laid large-format floor tiles and installed a wall-hung toilet, oak vanity, basin and matte black shower.

The recorded outcome

The completed bathroom makes use of the roof space and Velux window, with the finished fittings shown in the gallery.
